Max Starcke Park Golf Course, is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Seguin, Texas, on the north bank of the Guadalupe River,
Max Starcke Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1936. The course was designed by John Baedenns.
The course is built on level land and is easy to walk. Pecan trees line the fairways, so accurate tee shots are a must if you wish to score well.
The signature hole is #18, a 434-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot down a narrow fairway with pecan trees on the right and a pond on the left.
Blue tees: par-71, 6,721 yards
White tees: par-71, 6,242 yards
Red tees: par-72, 5,733 yards

Golf course was in good condition overall, especially the fairways. Pace of play was a little slow, but not unusual for a Saturday. Given the lack of rain in our area, I would say the course condition is better than average and a good value, only about $30 on the weekend including a golf cart.
